Who is Seth Pal Singh?
Seth Pal Singh’s 15-hectare farm, which serves as no less than a laboratory, is where he has continuously experimented, innovated, and attempted new things. The 55-year-old farmer from Nandifirozpur village in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district recently received the Padma Shri award in recognition of his initiative and curiosity.
Seasonal vegetable cultivation is something that Sethpal takes extremely seriously. He plants bitter gourd, bottle gourd, and pumpkins in the summer and cauliflower, green chilies, radishes, and other vegetables in the chilly winter. Along with growing veggies, the farmer also raises water chestnuts, although not in water. Additionally, he raises fish of the Rohu, Katla, and Nain species in his pond.
