Prachina Museum Bikaner

The Prachina Museum is the cultural center of Bikaner. Nestled in the quiet corner of Junagarh Fort, the museum was founded in 2000 by Siddhi Kumari, daughter of the late Maharaja Narendra Singhji of Bikaner. It features royal costumes, textiles, portraits of former rulers, contemporary art, religious paraphernalia, and more. European wine glasses, cut glass decorative items, cutlery and crockery from the royal kitchen are also on display. The perfumes and other interesting objects that were an integral part of the royal household will enchant you as you explore certain parts of the museum. A series of beautifully crafted carpets and rugs give visitors a chance to experience the artistic richness of India.
