21. Kolayat 

One of Rajasthan’s most famous tourist destinations is Kolayat, which is known for its sacred lake. The Kapil Muni Temple is the most well-known of the many temples in the area of the lake. According to legend, Shankya Yoga proponent Kapil Muni was enamored with Kolayat’s serene vibe and performed a penance for the world’s benefit. Even the Hindus’ sacred texts refer to the location as Kapilayatan. After visiting the temple, visitors can unwind at the serene lake’s ghats and enjoy a stunning sunset or go to the nearby busy market to browse the local handicrafts of Bikaner. The town is renowned for hosting the Kolayat Fair each year in Kartik. Additionally, the town is well-known for hosting the annual Kolayat Fair during Kartik Purnima, which attracts pilgrims and visitors from all over the nation. Attending the Deep Malika evening event, where devotees perform a ritual by floating earthen lamps in the holy lake, is the best experience one can have while at the fair. Kolayat is conveniently accessible by both private and public transportation and is located 50 kilometers from Bikaner.

22. Shri Nagnechi Ji Mata

It is one of the oldest temples of Bikaner. Rao Bikaji founded the city of Bikaner. He came to find Bikaner after leaving Jodhpur and had fourteen royal and holy emblems with him, one of which was Mahishasur Mardini Naganechi Ji. In this temple, this idol was idolized. The Rathore dynasty is referred to as the Goddess by the clan.

The beautiful temple is built on a high mound and has a high Shikhar. The front gate of the sanctum sanctorum is made of white marble, while the portico, sabhakaksha, and sanctum sanctorum itself are made of red stone from Dulmera.

23. Jorbeer Conservation Reserve, Bikaner

If you want to see birds, Bikaner in Rajasthan is one of the best places to go. However, Jorbeed can be attained after a 12-kilometer drive from the city. Jorbeer is your “spot of opportunity” if you enjoy birding. One of the best places to view raptors is Jorbeed. Crows are as common as steppe eagles, griffon vultures, and Egyptian vultures in this area. You will rarely never see a tree in this area without some sort of raptor resting on it, so it’s a place you’ll have to get used to. The main attraction of a trip to Jorbeer is seeing the largest gathering of eagles and vultures in Asia. You might also see the rare yellow-eyed pigeon here if you’re lucky. Jorbeed is undoubtedly a birder’s paradise, with thousands of magnificent raptors dotting the landscape.

24. Katariasar Village Bikaner

A popular tourist destination where visitors can get a first-hand look at Rajasthani village life is Katariasar Village, which is 45 kilometers from Bikaner on the Jaipur road and takes about 50 minutes to drive to.

The Jasnathji tribe, known for their fire dancing, makes up the majority of the village’s population. Milk farming is the villagers’ primary industry. There is a wide variety of wildlife, including Chinkara, Desert Fox, Peacock, Rabbit, Parrot, and Partridge. Before going back to your hotel, take a stroll through the sand dunes and observe a typical desert sunset.

25. Rajasthan State Archives

Rajasthan State Archives hold a unique place among the country’s archives, owing to the indigenous nature of its holdings. The current State Archive was formed as a result of the merging of the various General Record Offices and related record agencies from the previous states of Rajasthan. The State Archives was established in 1955 and has branch offices in all of the former Rajasthan covenanting States, including the province of Ajmer-Merwara, which was governed by the former Chief Commissioner.

Researchers and academicians people are the majority of visitors to the archives, who come to study the ancient administrative records that have been preserved here. Persian Farmans, Nishan’s, Manchus, and other documents from the Mughal era are among those found in some of the historical documents.
